Professor Cynthia Buckley on the National Security Implications of COVID-19

Professor Cynthia Buckley collaborated with Ralph Clem and Erik Herron on a recent article regarding entitled, "National Security Implications of the COVID-19 Crisis: The Urgent Need to Build State Capacity." The article was posted on The Owl in the Olive Tree, the blog of the Minerva Research Initiative, which highlights the insights of social science research funded through the program. 

“Beyond the devastating and widely discussed humanitarian and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the current global crisis also exposes the dangers inherent in governmental shortcomings to provide for their citizens’ welfare adequately.
