Congratulations to Illini alumnus Chloe Bird (Rand) for being awarded the Distinguished Career Award for the Practice of Sociology from the American Sociological Association. Chloe received her PhD from the UIUC Sociology Department in the early 1990's. Chloe recently gave a talk about her research career in our seminar series last spring. Congrats Chloe!
