Congratulations to Sociology senior Jazmin Olivas, who has been featured in LAS News for her award-winning work with The Immigration Project. Having started as a volunteer, she now works full-time as the point person for new clients, helping them acclimate to legal processes in Illinois.

In addition to her work with The Immigration Project, Jazmin is also the president of the Sociology Student Association RSO, and is completing minors in Political Science and Criminology, Law, and Society. She intends to pursue a career in immigration law.
