Please join us in congratulating PhD Candidate, Miguel Avalos for being awarded the University of Illinois's Humanities Research Institute's Graduate Student Fellowship for 2023-24. The fellowship enables advanced graduate students to develop their dissertations or research projects related to the broad theme of “Un/Doing” and to participate in the year’s activities, including the yearlong interdisciplinary Fellows Seminar and other related programming.  Graduate Student Fellows receive a $22,000 stipend and a tuition and partial fee waiver.
